A favorite amongst enthusiasts with global appeal and cult status, Jaguar's MkII defines the term 'sporting saloon' and is a beautiful, fast, capable luxury vehicle.
The example on offer has undergone a sympathetic restoration in recent times, with all work completed to exacting standards by its previous owner, a qualified and enthusiast Jaguar technician.
The Jaguars spec has evolved to one more befitting a saloon with its sporting nature and pedigree however, thankfully, it has not been 'over-restored' like a great many and remains true to its original nature. Boasting a rebuilt 4.2L XK engine coupled to a 4-speed with overdrive manual transmission, other work includes an electric cooling fan, a new clutch, uprated front springs and many suspension components, bushes and mounts have been renewed.
The Jaguar was also stripped and repainted (Racing Green, of course!) and the interior was refurbished with new carpets, door trims and leatherwork some years ago. Pleasingly, all body and trim work has been carried out professionally and is of a particularly high standard.
Delivered new in Australia through Brysons Industries, the MkII appears to have never suffered corrosion or collision damage and presents in superb order throughout. This is a particularly useable saloon and one that is sure to appreciate.
