Dealer Principal Ben Cook drives a Jaguar XJ6 Series I saloon, which has been discerningly modified to be first and foremost a reliable, practical and enjoyable daily drive vehicle, and yet one that can also be used for enjoyment on the track or in other sporting events.

To date, modifications include:

Vented and slotted oversized front rotors

PorterField carbon-kevlar racing pads
Braided brake hoses (front and rear)
GAZ 36-way adjustable shock absorbers (front and rear)
24mm Whiteline front sway bar
22mm Whiteline custom rear swaybar
Supra 5-speed manual gearbox
Aluminum lightweight flywheel
Large copper radiator core
Full twin exhaust system
Triple 2" SU carburettors with UO needles
50mm Trumpets
Electronic ignition (crane module)
Uprated alternator
Poly steering rack bushes

Further modifications currently under way include:

Series 3 Head with larger valves (polished with slight porting)
D-Profile cams
Rear rotors and calipers

Future projects include:

Full strip and repaint
Re trim
Rebuild of supra gearbox
New clutch
3.54:1 LSD Rear end
