An Australian delivered and plated vehicle, this Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Series I is a distinctively impressive example of the marque that offers a pleasing alternative in a market that seems to be flooded with particularly average cars.

Contrasting the crisp white coachwork is stunning tan trim with the seats clothed in fine custom fitted sheepskin covers. Boasting excellent timberwork, impeccable carpets and door trims, white wall tyres and sound paint, this Shadow is imperfect enough to allow its next owner the joy of regular use, though is certainly an impressive example when indexed against the norm.

With road manners and performance indicative of correct scheduled maintenance, this Shadow is superb to be in command of and feels particularly tight and together. Pleasingly absent from the on-road experience are the usual suspension clucks from worn undercarriage components and, while still offering a traditional, silken Rolls Royce ride, the car does not wallow about, nor does it wonder disconcertingly like a great many.
